My loves in life? Family, a handful of reliable friends, good-quality olives, seriously yummy food, a fresh set of nails, something crisp and cold in my glass, some crazy beautiful light, my camera and, of course, a nice horse.
Horses have been part of my world since before I could walk. The love of horses runs in the family, and I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with them and all the fun, laughter, crazy adventures and unforgettable moments that come with having them in your life. They’ve certainly provided plenty of stories over the years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all shapes and sizes, and I love photographing them too.
Travel is another huge love of mine. Being an international flight attendant has given me the opportunity to experience different cultures, incredible places and people from all walks of life. I love the human connection that comes with travelling, the conversations, the personalities and discovering just how much we have in common, even on opposite sides of the world.
And then there’s the food! I love discovering new flavours, finding little local restaurants and experiencing a place through its cuisine. I’m always up for trying something new, although a really good bowl of olives is pretty hard to beat.

Where am I based?
I’m a Cantabrian, born and bred! I live in West Melton and have access to some amazing contacts to get us into some of the best views in the Canterbury High Country! Further, I am available for travel around New Zealand.
Do I give out unedited (RAW) images?
Unfortunately No. When booking your photographer, you should feel comfortable with their creative style and are getting their photos which are professionally edited. This process takes me a lot of time and is an art in itself.
What should you wear to a photo shoot session with me?
Let’s hope that if this is your wedding day you have your dress and suit… I have plenty of contacts if you need any help just let me know.For Portrait sessions, your wardrobe is totally up to you. I can provide suggestions, neutral colours always look great. Whites/greys, beiges, browns/tans and greens, but ladies, you can never go wrong with that floral dress. Nice pants/shorts and shirts always look great for the guys.
What is my turnaround time for getting your photos back?
Depending on what time of the year it is, my turnaround time usually is three weeks for weddings and elopements. This process takes a lot of time but it is my goal to get it to you ASAP. Remember, you will still receive a 24 hour sneak peak with a selection of photos for your WE’RE HITCHED social posts. Portrait sessions turnaround time is less and usually between 48 hours and 1 week depending on the time of the year (wedding season take longer).
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, I charge a $500 deposit and this secures your date and booking. I want to make sure that you are comfortable with whatever package you decide to choose. The rest is due a month prior to your wedding or elopement date.
Do i have to pay travel fees?
Yes, i’m very lucky to be able to capture some amazing couples around the country. Don’t worry I’ll handle it all, flights, accommodation, rental cars etc. Travel costs can be quoted on inquiry.
